Future Readiness Program ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of students, parents, school administrators, and all users of our platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our career assessment platform and related services.

2. Information We Collect

Student Assessment Data: When students take the Future Readiness Assessment, we collect their responses across 9 assessment dimensions (cognitive aptitude, career interests, personality, AI readiness, values, grit & persistence, emotional intelligence, industry affinity & work style, and purpose & impact). We also collect the student's first name, grade level, and school code.

School Administrator Data: For school administrators, we collect email addresses, names, and school affiliation for account management purposes.

Inquiry & Demo Request Data: When schools submit pilot requests or demo inquiries, we collect school name, contact person details (name, role, email, phone), estimated student count, and any additional messages.

Technical Data: We automatically collect standard technical information including browser type, device type, and general usage analytics to improve our platform. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Generating personalized career intelligence reports for students
  • Providing school administrators with aggregate analytics and individual student reports
  • Improving our assessment algorithms and question quality
  • Responding to demo requests and pilot inquiries
  • Maintaining platform security and preventing abuse
  • Communicating with school administrators about their accounts and quotas

4. Data Ownership & Control

School-Owned Data: All student assessment data generated through a school's account is owned by that school. Schools may request export or deletion of all student data at any time.

Student Rights: Students (or their parents/guardians for minors) have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their assessment data. Requests should be directed through the school administrator or by contacting us directly.

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade student data to any third party. Period.

We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With the student's school: Assessment results and reports are shared with the school that administered the assessment.
  • With parents/guardians: Reports are designed to be shared with parents by the school or student.
  • Service providers: We use cloud infrastructure providers (encrypted data storage) and AI services (for report generation) that process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • Encryption of data at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+)
  • Secure authentication for school administrator accounts
  • Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
  • Access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only
  • Secure cloud infrastructure with automated backups

7. Data Retention

Student assessment data is retained for the duration of the school's active subscription plus one academic year, unless the school requests earlier deletion. Schools may request data export in standard formats at any time. Upon account termination, all student data is permanently deleted within 90 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Our platform is designed for use by students in grades 8-12 (typically ages 13-18) under the supervision of their schools. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent obtained through the school.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify school administrators of any material changes via email and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
